CNN Partners with Kalshi for Real-Time Prediction Data
CNN has entered a partnership with Kalshi, a federally regulated prediction market, to integrate live event probabilities into its reporting. The collaboration will leverage Kalshi's data-driven insights on political, economic, and cultural developments, offering viewers faster analysis than traditional polls.
Kalshi is expanding into blockchain, enabling on-chain prediction trading while bridging traditional off-chain markets. The platform's accuracy—exemplified by its rapid call of the New York City mayoral election—positions it as a valuable tool for journalists tracking real-time trends.
"Kalshi replaces debate with markets, subjectivity with accuracy," said CEO Tarek Mansour. The MOVE signals growing institutional interest in prediction markets as supplements to conventional newsgathering.
